What Do You Do With Office Live's Site Information Module?

I've always wondered about why the Office Live team bothered with the Site Information module. All it does is plop the header, slogan, or footer text at the location where you drop it.

The header is usually your site's name which you aren't likely to change. So there's no reason to plop in Site Information modules instead of typing your site's name in the text of your pages.

As far as the slogan goes, I can't think of any other place, besides it's rightful one under the header, where you'd want it to appear. And, you aren't likely to change your slogan either.

That leaves the footer text. Now this text is called the footer text because it resides in the footer. Therefore, I can't think of any other place where you'd want to use it.

And even if you wanted to use these elements on some pages in places other than their usual positions, you can simply create a template. The question, then, is what exactly do you do with the Site Information module?

Any ideas?
