Editing AcxedeFAQ Questions and Answers

AcxedeFAQ comes with the same set of placeholder FAQs that appear on Office Live Small Business's FAQ page. You can edit them, delete them, or add new ones.

  1. Go to the Home page of your account.

  2. Click Business Applications in the left pane. You'll arrive at the Business Applications page.

  3. Click on the AcxedeFAQ Manager application listed in the left pane. You'll arrive at the AcxedeFAQ List page, which lists all the FAQs in the database.

  4. Hover your mouse pointer over the first column of any question. A drop-down action menu, shown in figure 1 appears.

  5. To edit the item, choose Edit item. The editor, shown in Figure 2, appears. Figure 2: FAQ editor

  6. Edit the question, answer, or any of the other properties. The description of each property appears in the editor. If you're wondering what FAQAnchorName is, it is simply a unique marker. Enter a unique string here. Something like Q1, Q2, Q3, would do just fine. (This property is used for generating anchor names. I could have automated it, but if you happened to have an anchor by the same name, the links wouldn't have worked.)

  7. When you're done, click OK.

  8. Adding new items is equally easy. Just click on the New link shown in Figure 3. Figure 3: The New link

  9. The same editor pops up. Enter all the information, and click OK.

  10. To delete a question, choose Delete item from the question's action menu.
